Discover the art of sustainable beekeeping in our hands via this fantastic hands on experince event. Learn to care for bees, how to look after the bees. and the vital role the bees play in the environment. the event is ran by an experienced beekeeper at a fully working farm.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Introdcution to bees, beekeeper gear and safety, full hive inspection, hands on activities, honey tasting and lwax learning,.
WHO IS IT FOR: EVERYONE.
THE GOAL : To help people understand the complexity of bee societies, understand the importance of pollinators, fell more connected to nature, support conservation efforts, to do somthing amazing by creating fantastic memories.
THE SCHEDUAL (subject to change ): welcome and introduction, empty hive introduction and a talk about bee biology and hive life, suting up, hands on hive inspection, Honey tasting and light refreshments, bee talk and conservation talk, closing and goodi bags.
